Also beginning with go karts and getting his AMA pro license at 18 running flat track and a brief stint on a Kawasaki drag bike, in 1974 beginning his professional speedway career winning races coast to coast and becoming almost a weekly regular on ESPN television, growing up in a racing family with his dad Elmo Guy a member of the Kentucky Motorsports Hall Of Fame, Tee knows racing, he began radio in 2010 and along with racing his 130 mph shifter kart is having just to much fun for an old guy.

Simply a car guy through and through, began racing go karts at the ripe old age of 8, winning the southern Ky state championship at age 10, began drag racing in a 1954 ford stocker at 14 with a fake drivers license, he held the NHRA a/sp national record at 16 with a 427 Corvette and began driving the a/fx altered wheelbase Kentucky Colonel funny car that same year, being one of the youngest funny car drivers on record, in 1977 owner and crew chief of his BB/FC Mustang finished 6th in the IHRA national points.  he began motorsports radio in 2000 and still going strong.
